San Francisco Bay Ferry is the best way to get to San Francisco Giants games. We have service options for passengers coming from Alameda, Oakland and Vallejo. Check out the following pages for details on service for specific routes:
For evening games, direct ferry service to and/or from Oracle Park is offered. Reservations are strongly encouraged for direct ballpark service as ferries will max out. Learn more and buy advance tickets at the links above.
For games in which there is no direct service, we have details on using regular ferry service to get to the game. On weekends, this includes the free Ballpark Short Hop connecting the ferry terminals at Downtown San Francisco and Oracle Park. Learn more at the links above.

Free Ballpark Short Hop
San Francisco Bay Ferry now provides a free Ballpark Short Hop for weekend afternoon games. This short hop provides a great connection to Oracle Park for all San Francisco Bay Ferry routes serving the Downtown San Francisco Ferry Terminal on weekends (Oakland & Alameda, Richmond and Vallejo).
The Ballpark Short Hop operates on timed departures listed below. Boarding the Ballpark Short Hop is on a first come, first served basis.
Getting to the Ballpark
These trips connect to the Ballpark Short Hop. Ride one of the departures to Downtown S.F. and transfer to the Ballpark Short Hop at Gate E (closest to the Ferry Building).
- OAKLAND: 11:20 AM
- MAIN ST. ALAMEDA (ON THE OAKLAND & ALAMEDA ROUTE): 11:00 AM
- RICHMOND: 12:00 PM
- VALLEJO: 10:20 AM, 11:40 AM

Leaving the Ballpark
After games, the Ballpark Short Hop will leave Oracle Park twice: 20 minutes after the last out and about an hour after the last out.
Here are the connecting transbay trips for which the post-game Ballpark Short Hop connects. Just get off the Short Hop and transfer to the right gate to meet your ferry home.
- OAKLAND & ALAMEDA (GATE G): 4:30 PM, 5:00 PM, 5:50 PM
- RICHMOND (GATE F): 4:30 PM, 6:00 PM
- VALLEJO (GATE E): 4:10 PM, 5:10 PM, 6:30 PM
